to Know Before You Book

General Questions

Yes — always. We are a fully mobile detailing service. We come to wherever your vessel, vehicle, or property is located. We work at marina slips, boat yards, private docks, driveways, estate garages, and storage facilities. You don't drop anything off. We come to you, on your schedule.

Our primary service area is Vancouver Island — including Nanoose Bay, Fairwinds Marina, Parksville, Qualicum Beach, Nanaimo, and surrounding areas. We also serve the Lower Mainland (West Vancouver, Thunderbird Marina, Mosquito Creek, Coal Harbour, Vancouver) for larger marine jobs and clients with multiple assets. Contact us if you're outside these areas — we accommodate larger projects province-wide by arrangement.

The fastest way is to text us at 778-903-2134 with your vessel or vehicle details — make, model, length (for boats), location, and what service you're looking for. You can also submit our online quote form on the Contact page. We respond to all quote requests within 24 hours, and most are answered same-day by SMS. Photos are always helpful, especially for restoration and correction work.

Yes. Elevated RMA Services carries $10,000,000 CAD in commercial general liability insurance. This covers our work on marine vessels, vehicles, and residential/estate properties. We are happy to provide proof of insurance upon request for marina operators, property managers, or any client who requires it before work begins.

For larger jobs — full restoration projects, coating installations, and multi-day work — we typically require a deposit to confirm scheduling. Deposit amounts are outlined in the quote. Deposits can be sent by e-transfer after the quote is approved. For routine maintenance visits and smaller details, payment is collected on completion of the work.

Marine Questions

Yes. Most of our marine services — exterior detailing, gelcoat restoration, interior cabin cleaning, brightwork polishing, window coating, and most marine maintenance plan visits — are performed dockside with the vessel in the water. Bottom paint and antifouling work requires haul-out access. We coordinate with your marina or yard for those services.

Yes. We are IGL Coatings certified and apply Starke Yacht Technologies and Kenzo graphene coating systems specifically designed for marine gelcoat, glass, and stainless steel. Marine ceramic coating significantly reduces cleaning time, resists salt and UV oxidation, and provides multi-year protection. All coating work requires decontamination and gelcoat correction first — we quote both together so you have a complete picture of the investment.

Yes. We provide professional bottom paint and antifouling application, including barnacle removal, surface preparation, and paint application. This service requires haul-out access — we work with most marine yards and marinas on Vancouver Island and the Lower Mainland. We use hull-material-appropriate antifouling systems, including aluminum-safe products for aluminum vessels.

A basic maintenance visit is 45–75 minutes depending on vessel size. A full deep detail is a full-day service. Restoration work — heavy oxidation removal, multi-stage gelcoat correction, or coating installation — can take one to multiple days depending on vessel size and scope. We always provide a realistic timeline estimate in your quote so you can plan accordingly.

Our five maintenance plan tiers — Seafarer, Voyager, Mariner, Commander, and the one-time Flagship Reset — are built around two service types: the Deep Monthly Detail (full day) and the Basic Maintenance Visit (45–75 minutes). Each plan specifies how many of each visit is included per month. All plans include the full checklist for their respective service type. You can view the complete breakdown on our Marine Maintenance Plans page.

Auto, Coating & Correction Questions

Yes. Luxury and high-end vehicles are a core part of our auto business. We have experience with Porsche, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Land Rover, Cadillac, Audi, and other premium brands. We understand the specific materials, finishes, and trim types found in premium vehicles and select our products and processes accordingly. We also operate discreetly at private residences and garages for clients who prefer that.

Paint correction is the process of using machine polishing to remove defects from your vehicle's clear coat or paint — swirl marks, water spots, light scratches, oxidation, and etching. If your car's paint looks dull, hazy, or covered in circular scratches under direct light, paint correction will dramatically improve it. It is also a mandatory step before any ceramic or graphene coating — you cannot correct paint after a coating is applied.

Depending on the coating tier and how the vehicle or vessel is maintained, our ceramic and graphene coatings provide 2–5+ years of protection. Graphene coatings (Kenzo) generally outperform standard SiO2 ceramics in longevity and water spotting resistance. Longevity also depends on exposure — a boat in full-time saltwater use will require maintenance sooner than a weekend vessel that's covered and stored.

We use professional-grade products throughout our work. Coatings: IGL Coatings, Kenzo Graphene, Starke Yacht Technologies, Hyper Hold Pro. Polishing equipment: Rupes BigFoot dual-action and Makita rotary. Polish and compound: 3M Professional series. Marine protection: Collinite marine wax. Leather and interior: professional-grade conditioners and protectants appropriate to the material. We never use consumer or grocery-store products on client assets.

Pricing & Booking

Restoration, correction, and larger detailing jobs vary enormously based on the size of your vessel or vehicle, the current condition of the surfaces, the scope of work required, and access. A price listed without these details would either be misleading or so wide a range as to be useless. We publish prices where they're genuinely fixed — maintenance plan tiers, add-on services — and quote individually for everything else. This protects you from surprise costs and us from underquoting complex work.

Availability depends on current bookings. Smaller jobs and maintenance visits can often be scheduled within a few days. Larger restoration or coating projects may require more lead time. Commander plan members receive priority scheduling. Contact us to check current availability — text is fastest.

We accept e-transfer as our primary payment method. Deposits for larger jobs are sent by e-transfer to confirm your booking. Final payment is due on completion. We can discuss other arrangements for ongoing maintenance plan clients. Payment details are included in your quote.
